I’ve been climbing for 13 years and am the mom to a 4 year old girl with another baby on the way.  During my first pregnancy I managed to keep climbing until 37 weeks and stay relatively active until delivery.  I recovered from that pregnancy, trained and climbed my first 5.13a ten months after having the baby.  Since then, I’ve redpointed 5.13b (8a).  I’ve also had articles published in Climbing Magazine and Urban Climber.  With this blog I hope to record my training during pregnancy and post-baby in order to inspire other active women.  Additionally, I will include some tips for getting out climbing with baby.  Lastly, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and maintain a website (www.climbinginjuries.com) where I answer questions about climbing injuries.
